Gamma Eta Chapter | Ball State University

Membership in Sigma Kappa is not just for four years, it's for life.

The Sigma Kappa Gamma Eta chapter was founded on November 6, 1954. The purpose of Sigma Kappa is "to provide women lifelong opportunities and support for social, intellectual and spiritual development by bringing women together to positively impact our communities." By following our values: personal growth, friendship, service, and loyalty we do this in our lives everyday.
Consistent with our Founders’ thoughts in 1874, our primary purpose is to create an environment for our members in which lasting friendships and our values of sisterhood emanate all aspects of our organization.
Sigma Kappa is more than just a collegiate experience; it is a lifetime of commitment, support and opportunity. It marks the beginning of a relationship that will last for a lifetime.
